Cheap Tar Remover

I and a few other use white spirit on a cloth to get rid of tar spots, it's much cheaper than tar spot remover and works just as well.

For best results polish afterwards.

It's just marks left from bits of tar hitting your car really. Look black and nasty - especially on a light coloured car.

Anyway, back on to the subject, the Auto Glym tar remover isnt that pricey and is really good. Good if you scuff your car or get an adhesive on it too.

Get one of the cheap autogleam minitures packs with a bottle in it. Last for ever too. Works on loads of things, like the horrible streaks you get under wing mirrors that take ages to come off with a sponge...

I got one of those packs. There is something for everything in there. You are right, they do last forever. I have had mine for a year and nowt has ran out.

I use auto glym its good for tar. I used it on my sideskirts after making a huge mess with the sealent and it cleaned them up a treat too

i get them all over my car, really annoying, under door handles, mirrors, rear wiper, rear number plate, side strips, rear badges and it takes ages to get rid of what ever iv tried- polish/wax, t-cut, car wash- so il give that stuff you said a go

WD40 is also a very good tar remover & general degreasent.

Petrol is very good at de-tarring too
