Hi
I have a bravo 1,6. I wanna have a look at my sparkplugs to see what condition they are in.
Only problem is that i cant remove them !?!?!?!?!!?
I've tried with different sparkplug keys, and none of them seem to work.

Is it a special tool by fiat i need to remove them, or what?

Thx in advance

Never heard of any car with a special key!

Ive never heard of ne car with a special key, although i may be wrong?? You should just need the right size socket. Although it will have to be a deep 1 as it needs to grip the teeth! Try that and its anti clockwise (Sorry if u new that!!).

Good luck

ok thx :)

Do you know what size socket is needed then???

it needs to be a plug socket i think

It may need to be a plug socket i think - but u can try a normal one for size - i cant see why a normal 1 woulnt work if you get the right size - im not sure - just take the HT leads of and see if you can get 1 to grip. Its prob around 17mm or close to, and if you havent got 1 any garage will lend u 1 while ur there - if u ask nice enough (pitty we aint got tits) lol

I do not mean this in any derogatory way, but if you cant work out how to get the spark plugs out, how are you going to deduce the state of your engine and ignition system from the deposits on your spark plugs!!!

The plugs only need changing every 24,000 on the bravo/a.
