I bought a new insurance policy at the beginning of the month for my Bravo. The price was £1350 (I don't have the best driving history). I got the quote from confused.com. I also got a quote at the same time for the car I was buying £1420 (500 Abarth) so not much difference only £70 or so. I phoned them up today and they wanted £500 to swap the cars on the insurance saying they couldn't give me the price they quoted for the Abarth and that online prices are not guaranteed. Even though it states these prices are guaranteed if you buy today. Just wondering if anyone could help. To me it looks like they are trying to price fix as to cancel the policy I would lose 25% and a £50 admin fee. I would have thought that they couldn't say that price is not guaranteed because if I did not have insurance with them already there would be nothing to stop me buying it at the price right now online. Any advice would be most appreciated lol
