Messing about and wondered what use the code key is for on the bsi

It must be of some use.

Also, if you wanted to change BSI, can you just clone that 93lc66b chip over the top of your new 1...
 
Idont think you will get the info your after on here mate,
no offence but ..we might as well just hand out the key's too our punto's
if it was a forum like that,

punto's is on hit list for ecu thefts just recently so we is careful what
info we post/share.. on this forum,

Hi mate,

The "BSI" or BCU (Body Control Unit) or Multi-Timer Device/ Comfort unit as Fiat calls it, is a control unit that integrates a lot of the "body" functions, such as electric windows, lights, central locking, as well as the the instrument cluster and the code system etc.

The term BSI is generally used in French cars such as Peugeot and Citroen etc but it essentially means the same thing.

With regards to the OP, it is possible to clone the chip, but thats as far as I can go with that, as I haven't attempted it myself.
