no it aint that quick, the gearbox is too slow for 7s 0-60

That's my only beef with this car! The gearbox is painfully slow.

It's the same 'box used in the Citroen C2 VTR making that car painfully slow as well. Perhaps Smart should offer a fully manual alternative...

Bike engine'd cars, good for track days which is what 99% if not 100% are used for, motorbikes don't go below 5 or 7k nuless in the low gears which makes town driving difficult and generally annoying.

BIG do a quickshift box for the smart for around 1k that'll knock a good few seconds of the 0-60

what a car ive always wanted a smart car since i saw them and nearly brought one but then saw topgear review which said the handling was atrocious which put me off as thats what i like about my cinq but clarkson loved the roadster didnt he

you cant reall go wrong with them as long as youve got a good guarantee
