Hi guys ,
Im new to this forum. I have a 2013 Ducato 150 multijet 2,3ltr TD 330,000kms. I have just purchased it before christmas.Absolutley love it I have the "change engine oil" come up on my dash every time I start it and take off in first gear. Is there a way of stopping this. I have changed the engine oil and filter. I have a "Launch" scanner but cant seem to find how to turn it off.
Any help or info would be appreciated

Have you had the 'counter' reset via the OBD port? There are two counters to be reset, the service reset and the oil change reset. AFAIK they have to be reset by Fiat on the examiner system.
You can check the service and oil change mileage remaining in the Menu. Press MODE button etc.

As rayc has said you need to have the oil change counter reset on the cars ECu
All through other diagnostic software can do it such as multiecuscan that many of the forum member have on here. Many garages may also possess system that could reset it for you

Hi,
What Chris and Ray said, assuming your van has a DPF. You need the "Oil Degredation Counter" in the ENGINE ECU reset. This is different from the normal "Service" reset (which is in the Body Computer). Only Fiat specific software can do this so for DIY you need Multiecuscan www.multiecuscan.net at €50 Check the vehicles list to see if you need an adaptor lead. Most Fiat dealers will not reset this unless they did the service due to liability issues. You may be able to find an independent Fiat specialit to do it.

Thanks guys. I thought it might have to be reset at a dealer.
I have a local auto electrician with a few scan tools. I might give him a go at it first. Not many Fiat dealers here in Sydney.
I will let you know how I go. Cheers
