General Change drivers seat

I have a Fiat Marea from '97.
I bought it second hand, and i'm really loving it!!

There is only one downside of it, well don't know really if it's a fiat thing, but i heard some more people with the same problem that i have.

My drivers seat is on the left side in the front broken.
I did try to weld it, with only a success for 3 weeks. After that the seat broke again.

So now i'm looking for a 'new' seat.
Is it possible to replace the current seat with another model seat?
So that i don't has to be specific a mareat seat?
And can it also be a seat that is outside the 'fiat-range'?

Fiat bravo (has tilt), brava (same as Marea) and marea seats will fit. No other seat fits like for like.
