General Central locking query

Hi All Recently bought a 2011 Panda 1.2 Active with one ignition key. Its my intention to get a second remote control locking key but a friend of mine said that the Active model will not support a remote key, he cannot remember where he saw this. Can anyone help and confirm if this is the case. Thanks in advance.

Correct most Active don't have remote locking.althougjh I normally only see 1.1 actives

Parts.missimg.from the drivers door and hatch

If you unlock the car and the boot hatch does not open without using the key, it will be more bother and cost than it's worth

Not sure if this works,.if you sit in the passengers seat and press the lock and unlock button and all the doors.work.except.the divers, its not worth the effort

Cars without remote locking can modified to use third party remotes, but not straightforward
