need some assistance.. looking to have an alam on my van also central locking would be nice :)

as my rear lock decided to break last week i have had to drill the lock out. so now anyone can unlock my van and take all my dust sheets :(

i was looking at THIS ALARM. on ebay, i know there would be some fiddly bits to do the install but can anyone offer any help with this kit ie worth the money, worth the hassel etc etc

If your van doesn't already have central locking, that kits no good for you i'm afraid. It controls the existing central locking and adds remote functionality. Also, for just a few quid more, you can have a Thatcham approved one, which will pay for itself in reduced insurance premiums. eventually.

i had one of THESE on my escort. it depends ow well u would like to do it lol if ur guna go to extremes like me lol i stripped my whole dash out to get it in lol. and to get those little wires through the wiring loom on the door is a hassle. it took me ages and its very sensitive. i wouldnt recommend it to be honest.

its for my van so im not going to go ott with it, have been to maplins today got myself a locking kit and a alarm just got to sort it out now :)
