General cd problems

Hi bought a 2nd hand stilo last night 1747cc dynamic. I removed the radio/cassette to fit my own cd player. Problem. there is power going to the cd player but its not switching on,so i thought it was the cd player so bought a new one same issue. when i connect the factory fitted it works ok. can anyone help me its starting to get on my t*ts

Look in the ICE category, there is advice there on putting a non factory head unit in a Fiat. You may have to switch some of the wiring around in the loom.

I had the same problem with this in my Punto, as the above post says try swapping some of the wiring.

look at the red and yellow wires in the pictures on the link.

is yours a 3 door?
