Technical Cd player

I am wanting to fit better cd player to my seicento which I have just bought and have to disconnect battery but the car has a meta system alarm on it (on it when I bought it) will go off thinking I am a thief and will the drive the same when I reconnect the battery any one help?

I would have thought that if the alarm is disarmed before the battery is disconnected, then it will still be disarmed when you reconnect the battery.

Should not be a problem.

just don't have your ear near the alarm siren when you disconnect and reconnect battery, it hurts if it does go off right in your ear.

My guess is it'll go off. Just hit the button and it'll stop. This is a recurring theme with my MR2 (until I find the time to either change the alarm/and/or fix it so the driver's door opens from the outside with the key.

When i re connect the battery (if i disconnect the battery will all the cars electronics be affected warning lights etc

Not permanently.

Assuming you're using a stock ISO connector (and not boogering about with the wiring), I'd not even disconnect the battery. You could even just find the fuse which powers the radio circuit and remove that.
