Does the multi changer cable that is installed on the mk1 bravos only work with those two specified in the bravo guide or is it a universal one once an aftermarket head unit is fitted?Cheers!
also forgot to ask if anyone had any recomendations on what to do to stop rattling sounds in the door card produced from the speaker vibrations.thanks again!
The head unit is made by Grundig, so it will only work with the Grundig cd-changers.
I recommend getting a new headunit and changer anyways, the standard fit isn't bad, but it's not better than an aftermarket setup.
As for the rattling from the speakers in the dorrs, it could be a loose screw/mounting, best bet would be to take it all apart and fit everything back together nice and snug.
who makes your new h/u? the grundig h/u will work with grundig or some sony changers.
I thought that the standard h/u was cr*p but after fitting a grundig changer i was re-impressed, loud and clear enough for me.
Its a pioneer DEH -1330R single cd h/u.Its jus a mates got a PHILLIPS 6 disc multi changer for sale.and wondered if the already installed cable that the mk1s have should work with it not being grundig.tried it but didnt get much success.May have answered my own question there but jus wanted to find out for sure.
