CD Changer - SOME HELP PLEASE!!

Hi All,

I have a 2001 Brava which has a lead in the boot to fit a CD changer (the lead is the exact same as that in the Mark 1 Brava).

I ordered a CDX-T69 Sony CD Changer as recommended on the website. I received it today direct from Sony and found the cable coming from the changer is not compatible with that in the boot of the car. Called to a Sony retail store locally who said the CDX T69 would only fit to a Sony Head Unit

Can anyone please shed some light?????

You need a Grundig 6Disc Cd changer for the Fiat Headunit.

Or you buy the AFAS007 Connects2 adapter, which converts the sony signal to grundig. However you need to rewire the Sony wire to the Headunit then use the adapter.

Adapter costs circa £50, halfords etc stock them.

So how why are people recommending a Sony CDX T69???

Because the Grundig Changer Brand New is around £175 while the Sony one is only £135 with the adapter.
