CD changer in Stilo

Hi got a problem with my CD changer located in my glove. Its the standard Blaupunkt one.

It keeps coming up with check disc err. And it won't let me play any CD's.

Not only that it won't let me eject any discs either, and the numbered button next to each disc are flashing green and orange.

Is there anyway i can sort this out?? Has anyone had this problem before?

What disks are you using? Normal or CD-Rs?

And are they clean, no scratches?

How about turning ignition off and on?

They have been stuck in there for about 2 weeks now. Haven't done anything about it yet. I'm wondering if disconnecting the battery will have an effect and letting it release the CD's.

Using normal CD-r's and they were pretty brand new. They have all ran in the CD changer fine. Then i decided to skip the CD i was on to the next and thats when it stopped working.

Turning the car on and off has no effect.

I have experienced the odd glitch with my CDC, but usually rights itself in the end.

You may have no choice but to disconnect battery [or fuse, if easier] and see what happens?!
