Just been quoted £111 inc VAT for Cat bypass pipe for Bravo 100sx. This seems a bit steep. Does anyone know where I can get one cheaper. Magnex don't do them. I guess it may be this much because its a special order.

Cheers,

Russ

No it is'nt, £37.00 for a renault megane 2.0

Re: Untitled

Thats cheaper than the quotes I had for the Marea and the Spider.

If we are going to split hairs it is more expensive than for my old Sei and the Mini. So what? Its a different car!

get one made

seriously mate that's outrageous, you want to get one made up, i was quoted as little as 40 quid when i checked into it for the hgt, that wasn't stainless steel but there's not a lot of pipe to rust anyway. any garage should be able to do it for you, or at least steer you in the right direction. i wouldn't pay that kind of money for what is effectively a staight 2 foot bit of steel pipe, worth a fiver at most, up to you though.
i'll have to get my mig welder out, there's obviously a fortune to be made!!!!
good luck,
dom

Thanks

Cheers for the advice. If anyones interested in buying one that quote was from www.tuningshop.co.uk
