I'm new to putting engines together and my 1978 Fiat 124 Spider Coupe came from the buyer in pieces. I have a new Chrome Air Box and a new Carburetor and need help with the orientation of how the box goes on the carburetor and how to mount the carburetor onto the engine.
Referring to the attached pictures can you let me know the correct picture orientation by the letter of the picture? The Chrome Air Box has a white nozzle at the bottom of the box, should it be mounted with the nozzle pointing to the right in respect to the carburetor in picture A, or pointing to the left in picture B?
Next, what is the correct orientation of the carburetor sitting in the engine bay, picture C or picture D? Both of the carb pics were taken from the driver's side bumper looking into the engine bay.
Thank you for your help.
