I agree about carbon fibre. It used to be cool but now it's a bit chavvy. I can understand people doing car panels in CF to save weight but on a side view mirror cover are you really going to save much weight?

I dont really like carbon fibre unless its there to do something productive,
However that said, I have seen carbon dipping look very effective on black cars to get a sporty look... very discreat and usually on parts that cannot easily be replicated using carbon fibre weave... like honeycomb radiator grills etc.
It can look good in the right places, not all over the car
