Was thinking about getting this induction kit, wats anyone think of it and has anyone tried it ?

those filters are the tits lol, i havent got one myself but know a coupel of friends have them on there cars. they do cost more than your standard k&n but they are a more serious bit of kit. they are not as loud as a k&n filter not sure if you after the noise, but they are more effective and work better. how ever liek i said they do cost more think double teh price. im sure someone on here has one fitted to there car i know there are some puntos owners here that do.

I use a BMC CDA on my 2.4 Stilo - it is awesome , and definetely generates more power.

you will need to bodge some way of fitting it to the engine as waht they selling is only the induction cone - buy a gsr one it includes everything needed to fit to car

i think the GSR F11i induction kit uses the BMC airbox and filter, but it also comes with the cold air feed and the lush silicone pipe! when i stop spending money on other things, iv promised myself one of those, although under the special offers on the GSR website, it says limited stock of the induction kits, does this mean that they dont hold many in stock, or are they going to phase them out??? i hope not!

I don't have experience of the CDA but I do have a BMC F1 filter on the integrale & it is a very good filter.

There is also this one by RAID which is cheaper, not heard anything about but RAID are a good company and you seem to get a fair bit with the kit.

I was actually after the noise aswell, but i think i actually need to tone it down a bit wit the new manifold on.

At the bottom of the page it says

Ill email em and ask if its a straight swap, and how does it fix to the TB.

Edit* Thats raid looks quite good, and it looks like it doesnt connect to the tb like gaz said.

Well i have a 'bob' sitting here next to me so that could work.

its not a straight swap and you need to fabricate something to fit to the throttle body

ive had the box open and looked at the parts at tweeks, you will need a bob or something to fix it to the TB

Bit strange that all technical parts on centos are called bobs. You wouldve thought the Italians would have given different names to different parts.

PS: It actually does make a rather wonderfull sucking/whistling sound and if you put your hand infront of the opening, whilst the car is being revved - it sucks your hand to it - vacuum cleaner styly!!
