morning guys,

please help, i am having issues with my carburator:cry::cry: as it was using a lot of petrol lastnyt i decided to re-jet it and guess what i spend the whole nyt trying to set it as when i start the car it just overflows and petrol comes out of the carb at the sides.

is there anyone who can help me to bring my baby back to life as i miss her a lot or should i just buy a new one and fit it.

please assist guys, i can be contacted in my private mail address ([email protected])

If you "re-jetted" your carburettor and took it apart then you either damaged the gasket between the top half and the float bowl or the float needle valve has been damaged/ incorrectly set. Both these can cause leaking out of the side of the carburettor. You need to replace the gasket and/ or re-set the needle valve.

Also, it would help if you tell us which carburettor you are talking about as there are a number of different types used on Unos ;)

the carb its a Weber(21-24 these are the number i could notice), so i managed solve the leaking of petrol from the carb sides.
now the issue is that, there is a jet when u are looking at the top of the carb as the car idles it is pouring a lot of petrol into the carb and also when when the car is cold and u engage the choke it dies cause it is over fueling.

which other brand can i replace my weber carb with that will be good for my car.
