Has anyone looked in to getting their Bravo vinyl wrapped? If so, how much was it?

Can anyone recommend any places for it? Preferably as close to Hull as possible.

Cheers dudes!

I got quoted £1,200 from a company called totally dynamic I think they are based all over the UK.

Plastidip has many advantages over both painting and wrapping.

With plastidip you get the result of matte painting without days of sanding, prepping, baking and it can be removed in minutes.

wrapping looks perfect only on pictures, in real life you cannot avoid some wrinkles and cut marks especially on tight corners.

I'd disagree, I've seen some stunning wraps before without any blemishes, wrinkles or cut marks, but like all things you get what you pay for and they're far from cheap.

If you want to pay way too much for show floor quality wrap that's up to you. But usually when you pay for one day of labor to get it done, there's obviously flaws here and there.

And when it's really cheap, you can bet the guy won't care how corners and door frames look as long as the car looks reasonably okay with the doors and bonnet shut.

edit: I may be biased after seeing a shoddy (expensive) wrap job on an audi R8. It ruined that car for me.

I don't know if this helps but I looked into getting my fiat stilo wrapped in chrome blue I got quoted £3,000 for a all over wrap door lining everything wrapped so no original colour to be seen,

Then another company quoted me £2,000 yet again all over wrap hiding the orginal colour

Another company quoted me £1,500
But just a outside so if I opened the door the original colour would be seen,

So I'd say shop around for quotes and see what you can get, I've orded some 4D black carbon fibre wrap off ebay today size being
1,520mm x 1,000mm being more then enough to do my bonnet cost me £13.99 should be coming Tuesday or Wednesday so I'm going to give it ago myself see how easy it is or hard and if it's easy enough I'm going to do my hole car in lime green wrap bar the bonnet and spoiler...

Anyways I can't see it being too hard as I'm good at DIY and angels and stuff so I should find it easy, if you would like I'll upload a photo after I've done it and tell you how it was? As I've never done anything like this before so I'm a complete noob so if I can do it anyone can!

P.s forgot to say chrome is the most expensive wrap so they charge a bomb for it... Even though the sheets on eBay are same price as the rest they seem to charge more for it...

Believe they charge more for chrome/metallics because it's harder to apply. Don't think it 'stretches' like normal wrap as the layers distort if you do it wrong. Meaning more time aka more money to apply!

That is probably true! As if you stretched it too much I'd imagine it'd reflecting wrong and looking like a big ass dint all though the chrome looks really nice I wouldn't pay £3,000 for the wrap on a car I only paid £1,000 for lol if I had a Bentley or something then £3,000 would probably be nothing so I'd definitely have it done! I'll show you if I ever win the lottery :(

Wrapped my car today!
Not easy no way near!
I would recommend a professional off gum tree or Google it but do it yourself but I found it hard on the angles! The straight is a dodle but the Angels are hell! And definitely buy a lot over the size you need!

Any images ?

JayDKirk it always looks easy by the pros mate ive wrapped two of my cars and it does get easier. Quite alot of the carbon vinyls are quite thin on ebay as ive found but the best advise for you is to apply soapy water to where your vinyling first and use alot of heat to kerp the vinyl flexable and most importantly take it slow when applying. But as a fellow stilo owner and as bradgibbs says any pics :)
