Technical Car won't start

I have a 2001 punto hlx and my car won't start. I did a service and after that the car sometime hesitated when I floord it. Then the problem become more frequent and everytime it flashed the engine light until it left me by the side of the road. It started but run for 2-3sec and throttle didn't do anything. Day after that car won't even start. I changed the spark plug leeds and cleaned the gearbox earth but that didn't change anything. When I checked the error codes it said "U1601 CAN data bus (engine compartment) faulty". I have checked spark and fuel, spark is there and fuel is in the fuel rail.

If the car was taken care of by a garage,you have to go back to the mechanic to recheck it. If service were made by yourself,check again the ignition system, eg spark plugs,cables,coils,crankshaft and camshaft sensors,and that any plug that may got removed has been put back in place.
