Technical Car Revving automatically on Neutral

hello

i need help with this annoying problem

i have a MK2 V reg punto

1 month ago i noticed the car revs all the way to the highest rev automatically while in neutral, once i put it in gear the rev comes back down

i brought a carberator cleaner and clean the carb with toothbrush and sprayed some in the air intake, problem went away for 3 weeks till it came back, so did the same thing

it just randomly revs automatically while idle i really dont know what it is?

can anyone recommend a permanent solution to fix this really annoying problem?

You really need to remove the throttle body.

Clean outside, then inside.

Better yet, find someone with ultrasonic cleaner.
