i have just bought some fitted car mats and was wondering if it is possible to fit a metal footplate to them? if so how? is i even possible? simple enough to do?

if you can get a metal plate, you'll nees some way to stick em on. oe ones come with 4 studs through them.
If you figure this out, i'd be interested in knowing how too, as i have decent abarth mats, but have worn the drivers one badly with me heels, so would like to repair/recover it.
