Sorry guys. I know this has probably been asked a million times on here but...
I was thinking about lowering my as it is quite high and would look a lot better if it was lower. ImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1391637901.858867.jpg
Was just wondering how much it would cost for the whole process (Parts & Labour) and also which is the best ones for a comfortable ride and I really do not want to have a uncomfortable drive as I hate road bumps as it is now! Thanks in advance! :D

As a general rule, cheap springs will result in a bumpy ride, so don't buy the cheapest set you find.

As regards cost of fitting, i did mine myself and it took me about an hour and a half so you can translate that to whatever your garage charges by the hour.

Hi guys.

I can recommend H & R springs, 45mm rear and 50mm front, there's quite a few of us running them others have fitted Eibach 40mm springs, I went the H & R as i did not think the 40mm would take it low enough ( I think I was right), wellhappy with my choice. My local garage I use charged me £70 to take off my 35mm and put on my H & R ones.

I hope this helps?

Richard.

Not necessarily dude I bought a set of ryannn for £50 quid and I can't complain on ride quality it's lowered mine by 40mm but got a set of coilovers to fit on mine next weekend :D

Many on here say the eibach pro lines are the best springs for the GP
I wouldn't go with coilovers unless they're a good set (very expensive)

Got some apex's on the way from the classifieds, whatever you do, good springs will be a vast improvement ;)

I'm running Eibach Pro-Kit springs. The drop's about perfect for my fairly stock 5dr, but the ride can be very bumpy (especially for rear passengers; but since when have drivers cared about them?! :p ). I'd say £120 for springs and £80 for fitting is a good rough guide. Plus, of course, whatever extra your insurance will cost with the springs declared.
