A silver rover 400 cut in front of me to stop me moving, whilst a number of masked guys approached the car. They smashed the drivers window punched me in the face and dragged me from the car. They hit me over the head and then proceded to try to beat me up and steal my wallet. I managed to defend myself and get away with my wallet and phone but unfortunately the 3dr was taken.

I have been to hospital and had stitches in my head and am now back home recovering but urge anyone who may have any idea about this to contact me. There will be a reward for the return of the car.

Lastly if you can all be vigilant should the car be broken and sold in bits or to any breakers please be aware of people trying to sell cosworth parts. Theres very little standard about the engine bay so if you should be offered any of the parts fitted to my car please let me know. If you need pictures of the car to remind yourself look in the gallery on my website.

there is a car jacking once a day now in this type of way!
it's getting really bad, my mate got jumped by 4 lads when he was in his dogs ******** of a type R.
he's a champion kick boxer so he battered 2 of them, but the other 2 managed to get off with the car - they followed him from the trafford centre in manchester back to his bird's house.

Yeah a lad of cruisinUK also had his Rover car jacked and i witnessed one a few months ago in Manchester,
I followed a car for about ten mins, Weaving from lane to lane talking on mobile I thought nothing of it, Then we came to some traffic lights and he stopped blocking both lanes then, a couple of lads came sprinting across the road, nearly being hit by a car, launched a brick through the drivers window hitting the female driver in the face, The men then jumped into the beemer and sped off followed by the car i was following narrowly avoiding the women laying in the road!
This was at 10am next to a busy retail park (West One, eccles) happened that fast that i didn't realise what had happened untill moments later!!
I have a stanley knife in the door pocket and always keep my doors locked.
They might eventualy get my car and do me some damage but they will be hurt and will need hospital attention!

baseball bats are too big to swing, you would never be able to hit them with enough force. Get a rounders bat and ball, a rounders bat will fit under your seat so you can reach for it with your left hand.

To be honest if you can drive away then do it, don't worry about what you may hit, them, curb, other car or just let them have the car, there is very little chance you will be able to fight off 2 or 4 guys and it isn't worth getting hurt over.

Get a Billy Bat Car Steering wheel lock. Made out of steel, looks like a bat and even has a foam handle for good grip.

If you need to use it as a weapon you can't get wrong because it's a steering lock.

I say use it if it's the first thing to hand. It isn't too long , so you could get a good swing and break a few facial bones.

is there not an alarm that can charge your body so that if anyone was to touch it they would get a shock?

would be a good idea i think , just ground the seats so you dont get fried and hey presto like an electric fence

not as such, but in south africa they stuck a flame thrower under the car. if some 1 is trying to steal it.... i send up a massive flame up the side of the car.. perfectly legal except if the guy gets hurt ur in the wrong....

There was two car jackings around Bolton i think yesterday. Well i heard it on the local news.

A BMW was stolen as the guy was deicing his windows and the second was an Impreza which they threatened the guy out of his car.

Whats the world coming too!!!

Oh and yes there is an alarm that prevents your car from being car jacked here in the UK. It cause no harm to anyone.

This alarm has two keys and two other fobs. The key is for the car obviously but the other fob you carry yourself. These keys must be always near one another to work. Now when the car is stolen and your fob and key get seperated a X amount of metres, it sends a signal to the car and the engine cuts off. Hence car will stop, thieve looks like a d1ck and does one. Car gets returned and theres no need for the owner to panic.

p.s I also have heard car jackers do have tricks to con you out of your car. For example, if your driving along in your shiny, expensive motor, feeling good. You approach a set of traffic lights and stop. Now there will be one guy nearby these traffic lights and another guy in a car behind yours, but you'll only notice him when he gently bumps your car. Now most people will leave the key in, leave the car and have a look at the damage, now while your out of the car, the other guy by the lights will jump in your car and drive off and so will the car that hit you.

Yeah Joske 2, 1 in bury this morning, New scam seames to be they ride up your arse to annoy you then when you stop bump into your car so obviously you get out worked up and 4 of them get out with masks on and bats to hand!

The car alarm as a add on for clifford i think called black jack, When the engine is running if the drivers door is opened the alarm triggers, You have approx 20 secs to enter a code into a small key pad or else the engine stops dead!!! V.V. Expensive though

i was gonna get one of these, but im not sure how much it would cost to get it fitted, as im not to up with auto electrics

best thing to do if you realise your being car jacked is to take the keys our and throw them as far as possible in a bush or down a drain, might work out less expensive than a new car to replace the keys

i heard of one near me.
group of people hiding, one on path.
the one on the path see's you coming and steps into the road forcing you to stop. when you do stop the group pop out of hiding and try to drag you out, or kick **** out of your car.
the one on the path i heard was a youngish lass!!

I was in birmingham when 3 black lads stopped a woman in a car and tried to get her out of it.
when she refused they tried to hack her arms off at the wrists. removed one and severed the other before driving off and leaving her in the road.
oh gets better they came back 10 mins later and raped her too.
i've stopped in harlem and i've never heard of something so fooked up going on there. they just shoot you for your car.
what goes through peoples heads to do all that for a car?

have you seen the bmw ained at this sort of thing? bullet proof, run flat tyres, external speakers etc. You can't sell them second hand, you have to sell them back to BMW and there are controls to buy new ones to try stop drug dealers getting them
