Car is switching off while driving

howsit guys, hope url all doing well this new year. I just have a quick question...my fait uno 1.1 is switching off while driving as soon as it gets hot so when i check the petrol filter its empty but after awhile when the car cools down alittle it starts again. Any suggestions what could it be? Thanks

Plus when hot and not running see if you get a good spark when cranking.
