Car insurance post bump

My car insurance renewal has come through and they're after £700 for a Cinquecento Sporting with 6 years no claims and 1 accident (where I was noted as at fault) On a new shape Fiat Panda 1.2 they wanted £590

Anyone know of any insurance companies where they are "sympathetic" to the one claim I have against me?

Up until then I had no driving endorsements, accidents or claims against me

Just can't afford £700 for insurance against a car that cost me a lot less to buy in the first place

Have you tried the FF insurance traders - Chris Knott and skyinsurance?

Chris Knott couldnt give me a competitive quote this year. Although they were very good last year.

I went with sky in the end as they were only about £60 more than admiral but did like for like replacment on my mods.

use quid co and get quote of go compare gets you £1.50

then see if the cheapest one also does a cash back

i just did that for mrs dave
go compare admiral was cheapest at 242

but go through quidco again an get direct quote for admiral was 212 with £30 cashback

both single car full year policies. they knock off only £10 for a 10 month policy

That'll teach me to go out on Boxing day to the sales
