cant turn on engine

ok, whut might causes the yellow code light on my dash board (i assumed its the security system...) didnt light up? whenever this happens, the engine cant seem to be able to start, although the battery is ok (trust me on this).

sumtimes my engine died when i was driving, thats dangerous, the other day i was going up the hill (wher i live) when engine died, the car behind almost crashed into me! when i tried to start the engine again, i realised that the code light didnt light up at all, a little fiddling with the wires (an hour or so), the yellow light comes back on, and the engine started again, any explainations?

is it coz of the fuse? wiring problems?

Sounds like a fault either with the code ECU or the transponder wiring.

I'd go to fiat and get it looked at, it will probably be cheaper in the long run.

Have you tried the emergency start procedure given in the manual?

Faulty/bad connection on the cut off switch under the seat?

yes no joy with that reset the aftermarket alarm aswell but that had no effect neither

Me thinks your code ECU may be toast.

me too 500 brick plus VAT its a toss up between that or the transponder box ??????

Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Can't fiat do any diags on the code ECU to see if its alive?

Its always possible there is a broken wire somewhere.
