This reminds me of having lessons on a 125 at 16, in the text book it said we had to prove we could "go slower than standstill" (roughly translated if it sounds dodgy), it still puzzles me how that could be possible... but very good for clutch control s well... bit random maybe

No doubt this was rusted through, it crunched when I undid it and fell apart in lots of pieces.... if nothing else made that part easy to get off, lol




The other side is a flippin nightmare though, can't see a thing...

Is the pipe standard brake pipe size? If so, any garage should be able to make up a new one quite cheaply. May have to use the original end fittings, so would need cleaning well.

Once off, measure the pipe with string to follow the bends. Get kunifer rather than copper or steel pipe. Copper tends to work harden and can split eventually, steel, as you've found rusts well, kunifer, or copper nickel pipe, is the best of both, strong, but not too difficult to bend, quite corrosion resistant.

If pipe is larger diameter than brake pipe, might still be worth asking local garages.

Sadly there wasn't a great choice of colours, would have loved it to stand out in a ridiculous way, lol, so had to go with grey. Putting second layer on in one hour.
