The punto 8v is slow tho. The punto 16v doesnt seem much/if any faster than my cinq tbh
No really, the a4 had less pull or felt like it than my cinq, is too heavy i think is its problem, couldnt overtake for crap

oh i know, but a gokart with a 1108cc engine is plenty enough to see off an 8v heavy weight

Today i drove a new a2 (dont laugh) 1.4 diesel 3 cylinder and it was bloody quick, much quicker than my fiat it was so suprising how fast they are.
They still look stupid though.
Audis are always gonna be quick, even the diesels; they're a premium brand and as such are always built with a decent amount of grunt. Same goes for Saab Turbos - they're three times the price of a Punto! But if you compare them with more mundane cars, even 8v Punto's are actually quicker than most "normal" motors. My mum's 1.8 Citroen C5 and my dad's Primera TD both feel sluggish as hell compared to the Punto; mine can see off my mate's Astra 1.7 TD as well

im sorry i cant beleive it feels quicker than a 1.8!!!!

Compared to my old car (306 XSi) my Punto rattles to **** (I mean, REALLY rattles) and the clutch is totally shagged (it's only done 3k miles - been waiting for the parts for 2 months now).
It's a bit depressing, but I changed cars for a reason, cost mainly

Well i'm in completely the wrong bit here, but i drove a Ferrari at Goodwood racetrack, and then drove home in my cinq, and i was well happy with it
