Can I have a bit of advice on buying 147 handles

As the title says im going to get some from a breakers, they are going to take them straight off a 5 door 147.Is there anything i need to know apart from them taking of carefully and giving them intact?? Think i might be able to get them for a good price so if there is any more will post on here.

Whatch out for the plsctic lever that makes up the back of the lock barrel. If you snap it, there's no fixing it and you'll end up with a handle that works fine, but wont lock/unlock.

Other than that, as you said, don't lever it too hard or you'll mark it. Just take it out with all the levers in place

Follow the guide, maskin tape the handles up so u dont scratch them anymore, take as much time as u need and plenty cups of tea. I paid 70.50 delivered for mine with only a couple of scratches that will polish out. Good luck

Sorry for late reply, will use maskin tape. Paid 50 pounds for the pair with a few scratches.

Car is ink black.
