finally got my brakes sorted on my cinq 16v conversion and took her for a road test last night for the first time. after a few goes sorting the tracking out, on my return trip she died on me,
turns out the 3bar punto pump had siezed.
when i took it out it would not run forwards, i reversed the wires and it freed
now it works forwards. this pump has no strainer on the bottomso could it have picked up debris?
i only have one more pump which is on my punto gt but my question is can i fit an inline fuel pump and have it switched on the dash will they both freeflow and not restrict each other when either is being used?
is it only important i fit a 3 bar pump and i dont have to worry about l,p,h?
as she is only a std punto 85 lump
