Hello - I'm a newbie and don't know where to turn.

I am a proud Fiat Grande sport Punto owner, had her from new, however, the time has come that the exhaust is about to drop to the fall (literally taken her off the road last night).
I'm in desperate need of some help.

The vehicle is a 2008 model, 199, 16v, 120 bhp and apart from the exhaust, is in really good condition, hence why I don't want to scrap her - I'm happy to pay to get the exhaust fitted however, no one has the parts.

I'm looking for the following:
Back box 51801440 - Klarius FT929W
Middle pipe 51869912 - Klaruis FT927A

I have spoken to Klarius who say they have the items in stock, but I can't purchase directly with them and their stocklists are saying either out of stock or no longer supply.
I'm happy to go with other makes, even the Fiat garage is unable to find the central section.
Can anyone help please?
I'm getting worried as I need my car for work, being a single female, I'm going to be another unemployed person, if I can't get my vehicle fixed as there is no public transport that can get me to work on time.
Thanking you in advance for reading my plee for help.

Firstly, is the exhaust beyond repair? A good garage that has someone with welding skills could fix the hangers if it's just dropped down and need a minor repair or to patch a small hole. Some garages are only interested in swapping parts so it's worth looking for somewhere that offers welding services.

If it's definitely in need or replacement, you could try a local Fiat/Alfa/italian car specialist (if you have one) as they may have better stockists options than general garages. If you mention your general location then someone might be able to recommend a place. If you are in London/South East then 'Fiat/Alfa Workshop' is well regarded - https://www.fiatworkshop.co.uk.

Did Klarius give you a list of stockists to call round? I can't vouch for this seller, but I did find these on eBay:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313615721998
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334090834683

Lastly, the custom fabricated option might be worth considering if you really can't find off-the-shelf parts. Something like https://www.powerflowexhausts.co.uk/ or any other custom exhaust specialist you may have locally. They don't necessarily have to be customised to be loud, although can be :D

Good luck!

Hi Tracey :)

The FIAT parts system is called ePER And should list all the original psrt numbers

Thats the best way to figure out what brands are still going to be available..and fit

My old diesel exhaust was 'old stock.. and around 10% of list price

A SEARCH of Ebay Italy will probably show the FIAT part numbers necessary for YOUR PUNTO

I would agree about getting a stainless system, I'm going to do it when my Panda exhaust goes as it works out cheaper than off the shelf pattern parts. I wouldn't bother with Klarius exhaust systems as from past experience from helping my mechanic father with cars any exhaust from klarius are an awful fit & he hates their systems. Bosal are usually a really good fit if you can get them.
