Technical can anyone advise me how often does the antipollution filter warning comes up

hi
i work 9-5 and only drive my doblo on weekends for short journeys so the anti pollution warning light has come up. i was told to take it for a hard run on the motorway. did that and it sorted it out . but just wanted advise as to how often does the anti pollution light come on for a person like me. who just drives on weekends and that too only short trips can anybody suggest any thing to sort this out permanently or atleast for longer periods. because i hardly get time to go for long drives.

any help or advise much appreciated.

Hi, and welcome,
any DPF equipped vehicle NEEDS to get hot enough to cycle the DPF regeneration,

there have been people with DPF equipped 500's who've gone back to the supplying dealer, and exchanged the car for a petrol,
as the DPF was never going to work efficiently with their limited use,

use the SEARCH on here , as in "advanced" setting you should find LOTS of useful info,

Depends what doblo you have (you supplied no details0 as the post office use them thesedays and they do loads short journeys.................when they can be bothered, ohhhh controversial
