how much for wipers for a bravo, and how do you get another blade on the rear wiper, the fronts are diff sizesarent they 19 inch and 23 i think

Fronts - about £20 for the pair.

Rear one - get a cut to fit one but make sure you get the right width if you have a spolier.

wipers

thanks al but wat do ya mean cut to fit an how do you re attatch the rubber back to the arm mate

You can get cut to fit wipers at Hellfrauds in the normal wiper section. You then just cut it to the required length. As for fixing, if you look at the rear wiper it has a couple of retaining clips. Prise them apart and the old blade should slide out and then you can slide the new one in.

Should be fairly clear once you have a look at the wiper arm.

The cut to fit ones are pants, i know, because i tried. But then i had a dewipered rear at my next MOT, so no problem there. lol.

£20 for frints is a rip-off
generic crap from my local motor factors works out at £10.50 a pair...

wipers

can u de wiper your car for mot can u leave the spline stickin out or u gotta remove an plug hole

is the rear wiper an essential part of the mot test????

Buzz - Mine is cut to fit and has been on there for 4 years with no probs so I'm not sure what happened with yours.

Agreed £20 is a rip-off but I was giving a worst case scenario should you go for these new flexing thingy wipers which are really good.

now those floppy wipers are great.
the refils were a biatch to get in for me, and then they juddered a wee bit in use. i put iit down to being cheap crap and vowed not to make the same mistake. I buy cheap blades for the front, and just replace them every year, but, on the skoda at least, i'm thinking of changing to floppy wipers. Especiall as i'm having it made into a taxi and it'll be on the road 5-7 days a week. considering it rains 250 days a year around here, decent wipers are a must-have

Lol!

I got judder when I first put them in but i quickly found that I'd kinked it when I put it back. Removed kink and all sweet since.

Damnit - doubt in my mind now.

I bought the flat blades, and asked for 19"/23" - just to confirm, this is correct yes? (since the seller recommended 19"/22")

atif, the blades i had on that car were 1" smaller than the book said. when they had the proper sizes on, the drivers one just touched the paintwork on the a pillar if you used them while doing more than about 50mph.

they'll be fine, but i preferred the smaller ones anyway. those you bought will do.
