can any 1 help (deisel pump fault)

just been given a 2002 punto van with a faulty deisel pump, fiat wont £800+ for a new 1 does any 1 know were i wood get a used 1 from cheap thanks lee

Scrappy, or IIRC fiat also do reconditioned ones. Is it a D or JTD?

im not shaw if it a D or jtd, how much about are they also are they the same on other fiats if so wat 1s thanks lee

If its a D, then they are quite rare, as most people tend to go for the more powerful JTD. It will be the same as on the Stilo, Doblo I believe

£800 is good price,a good overhaul/recon by good specialist would cost this amount.

contact your local recon centres, they shoud do an exchange for much less money. however first ring every locla scrapyard and breaker because you'll get one much cheaper, however you really need to figure out which engine you have first. the engine code is on the VIN plate in the engine bay.
