Technical cambelt change

:bang: Hi there everyone only a very quick question, sure u will all know but i am a total idiot when it comes to cars, i regularly fill up diesels with petrol and vice versa thats how bad i am...
How often should the cambelt and any other belt for that matter (are there any other belts) be changed on a MAREA WEEKENDER 1.9TD 75 SX, and how much is this likely to cost.

Hi and welcome to our forum.
We usually advise changing cambelts at around 50k.
Not sure of cost on a diesel, petrol is between £300 and £700 for a 20v.

Word of advice... Get it done long before 60K, as mine went at that! (T-reg Marea ELX 115 1.8Litre.)

It's damm expensive if it goes bang like mine did, means new valves which aren't too bad in price but the labour is.... I paid almost £1500 to get it all repaired!!!
