My HGT has only done 16,000 miles but I do drive it hard! Apart from the usual time span of change the cambelt when should I change it because of the way I drive it or doesn't it matter?

If you are driving so hard that you are worrying about changing it at 16K then please sell it to someone else! There are too many HGTs dying or being killed at the moment so let's be careful out there.
BTW, The latest HGTs are 4 years old or older so it is due next year whatever your mileage.

No way am i selling my beast yet she's mint! I think i will take your advise and change it next year as the car is only 3 & couple of months old!

Recommended change by Fiat is 72k or 5 years. Those who know better say 36-48K or 5 years.
