hi, can anyone help me? im looking for the procedure to change the cam belt on a coupe 20V turbo without removing the engine? apparentley it is possible? is there any information about it on the net?

To be honest,I would not recommend a DIY belt change. The Coupe is a complicated beast to do a cam-belt change on,and don`t forget the water pump, tensioner and auxilliary belts will need doing too. Take it to someone like Motormech (Birmingham). Paul will do a job you can be confident in at a very reasonable price. Doing the job wrongly can be very expensive. If it`s done proffessionaly, then you get a year`s guarantee on the job.

you can do it but its a lengthy and alot of stuff has to be removed plus have u got all the looking tools so i wouldnt advise to do it but most fiat garages dont remove the engine unless the clutch is worn so instead off £1500 it can drop to about £700 i did mine my self as im a fiat technician but i can tell u there was alot of swearing involved.(n)

My mate's a very competent mechanic, competent enough that I would trust him to carry out a cam-belt change on my coupe! however it was a no-go in the end as you have to have the specialist tools and he said he'd probably only ever use them the once :)
