I have a 1989 Diesel 2.0L. I am wanting to replace the Cam/timing belt, but cannot find a workshop manual or other information that would help with doing this. Is there any special items to note, or is it straight forward ? Any forth coming advice would be apreciated. Thanks.

Hi Ross,
I did my own on 2.5d engine. There is a TDC timing mark on the flywheel visible through housing on mine. Was quite st. fwd - getting pulley bolt undone took a bit of doing though without a pit. Found that previously been fitted one tooth out..(by a garage!) A mechanic mate printed me out an Autodata info sheet that showed timing mark line up - this link may be useful:
