replaced cam belt and rockers after it snapped but noticed terrible lack of power, it seems sprockets have slipped on cams but there are no two markings that I am able to use to re-align, car has been off road now for 10 weeks, any help greatly appreciated.:confused:
thanks

Have you checked the locating pin on the pulley ?
Sometimes it brakes with the cambelt but since you have it running it should be alright.
Did you released the 3 bolts on the pulley while timing the belt?
Move the engine to top dead center, put the locating pins (I used 2 8mm bolts) on the pulley and crank (flywheel)
They have to match if they don't lock the crank, release the 3 bolts on the pulley and move the cam so you can fit the pin on the locating slot/hole, then just tighten the 3 bolts and you should be back with full power.
On rebuild or cambelt change the 3 bolts have to be released to allow correct timing of the belt.

Good luck
Ric
