Technical Cam followers

Hi Techno guys my question is, Is there any differance between the in-let and exhaust cam follower's?. Just done my head gasket (what a bloody job) started first time after the rebuild the thing is, I took the head extension off the easy way, yes the cam followers went everywhere so took pot luck putting them back into the head extension, now the engine is running ok but the followers sound like a well worn taxi , I know that'll have took take the head extension back off to sort them out.

has anybody got a spare head extension for a 1.2 (2001 brava) maybe even a kn^^kerd one?????? i'm in urgent need off 4 cam followers, i'v discovered that 4 off mine are not working, the centers of the cam followers pump up and down with the oil preasure and my 4 are solid
