Calling all PC wizards!

my pc has cocked up, anyone got any advice?

the address bar on internet explorer has gone from a space i can type in to a greyed out box in the top right corner which just says 'address' in it.

if i right click and turn addres toolbar on n off the word adress appears and disappears.

i cannot click on the word address or get any box that allows me to type a website in!

it is not on full screen

you see what im saying?

any help?

press and hold the left mouse button over the word "address"

then without letting go move your mouse down and to the left.

try left clicking the bit that says address and moving it down to make another row or moving it about tna resizing it! - give it ago! let me know if its not worked!!

Click- View,Toolbars and click on address bar. Should do it.

sorry lads, i cant click on it, drag it, resize it or anything. Selecting view, toolbars etc etc. only turns the word address on and off!

arrrgh, bloody pcs.

martin suggested doing an xp style go back, might be an option

dont you just right click the toolbar and retick address bar?

if i do that the word address appears and disappears. Theres some funky **** goin on here, ive loaded it this morning and all the forware & back buttons have gone up threre. arrrrgh!

If you right click on the general area is 'lock the toolbars' ticked? If it is then untick it before trying to drag
