internal cab and internal van lights have stopped working, checked bulbs all ok, checked all fuses in the drivers side fuse box all ok.

Any idea if it could be a relay? if so any idea of which one and location
any help much appreciated

120 multijet 2007

Put the multimeter on all wires in the cab light housing with no reading on any of them. All fuses are ok.
Is there a download available with wiring diagrams for 120 multijet 2007

The lights are controlled by what Fiat calls the "chassis computer". There are no relays involved, the lights fade out after a predetermined time setting, so they are directly connected to output stages of the computer.

Chassis computer! Thats well beyond my knowledge, any pointers to which wire is the live feed to the cab light, photo would be nice, as all wires to the cab lights are a no reading on the meter.

I might just run a new live up to the light. Not worried regarding load area lighting, as converting the van to a camper and that will have leasure battery system.

Just converted a similar van and was thrown by the Cab wiring for a while. There are 3 wires running to each lamp. I realised that the live feed is always on till the sleep timer kills it after a period of inactivity (such as engine off and doors not changing state). The lights are dimmed out by a circuit on a ground wire you switch to for courtesy light, the other wire is always ground.
