Hi!

I am trying to buy some wheels off ebay,
They were on a rover 220 coupe before, i have checked a few websites and the pcd is 2mm off but i can use them dodgy nuts, the stud is the same but the c bore is for mine is 58.0 while the rover is 56.0. Does this really make a difference or will they be ok?

Thanks

They won't fit. The centre bore is what locates them on the hub. Basically the rover wheels won't fit on the fiat hub.

The centre bore takes most of the latteralloading whereas the wheels nuts take most of the torque loading. If the centre bore is too large, the nuts will be taking all the load and either snap or damage the wheel.

You could get them machined quite easily though. Easier to make the hole bigger than make it smaller. If I could get the gap out of my lathe bed I could do them but there are alot of small engineering companies around the country who will only charge 30-40 notes to do it.

Where have you found the wobbly bolts?

Re: Re: C/Bore

My friend works at Halfords and he says they sell them there.

Thanks very much for the help matey

Have fun, the 220 coupe wheels are not half bad.
