Tis a sad day. i have just waved goodbye to my HGT - some lucky person is now the proud new owner of it. The search now begins for my next car. any suggestions people????

something quite fast, started with idea of rover turbo coupe-scrapped, then thought of sunny gti-r, but cant find one that hasnt been thrashed. now thinking along lines of calibra

Re: Re: BYE BYE

A classier alternative may be an Integrale?

Re: Re: BYE BYE

Golf 1.8 Turbo.

Golf 1.9TDi (150bhp).

Ian.

Re: Re: Re: BYE BYE

i wouldn't get a cavalibra, they really are just a cavalier that's been squashed. But then again i wouldn't get any vauxhall purely because there seems to be something that posesses vauxhall drivers! lol

i am not interested in any of those Golfs cos they arent any faster than the car i just sold

Re: Re: BYE BYE

You have to either go to a rally bassed car of a sports coupe

Re: Re: Re: BYE BYE

how about a corrado, similar $ to a calibra and soo much more road presence

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like grandpa, not screaming like the passengers in his car!

search over people - i have found my next baby - a 185bhp Punto GT - immaculate :)

Re: Re: BYE BYE

That sounds like it'll rip the front wheels off!
Go for it!

Re: Re: Re: BYE BYE

Thats alot of horses for a front wheel drive car (Is that standard spec?)...and i don't think the clutch and driveshafts would last to long?

It's not standard spec. but i agree, i'm not sure how long wear and tear items will last, but probably fun while they do!
