Was only getting 100 miles out of £20 on the Punto getting well over 200 miles off £20 on the Clio.
Punto had "issues" which were starting to develop again such as suspension sounding rusty, engine whining, coolant disappearing on a weekly basis, fly wheel had hardly any teeth left, rear tyre was going bald, tax was up at end of month, brakes needed changing, oil was spraying over engine bay, car over heats when its cold but not when its warm?? Passenger side door could be opened with practically any key what fitted and a terrible clunking sound when going slow over speed bumps
Couldn't see it lasting very long so I thought I might as well get ahead and jump boat before anything happens and I am left with a dead car suddenly. At least now I have a more safe car, powerful and somewhat better looking car. I feel a hell of a lot safer in the Clio the driving is a lot smoother, the alarm and immobiliser gives me a peace of mind what I never had with the Punto which made me nervous where i parked it, how long i left it for and if it was going to die on me on a motorway or in heavy traffic. Was a shame to go from Punto to Clio but I must admit, Clios are really nice cars, not very spacious which I am not used to but I can really see myself taking good care of this one now wouldn't surprise me if my Punto met the Scrap yard in a year or twos time unless someone is willing to fork out a large amount of money (more than the cars value) to fix it. Thats what I done and new problems always seemed to come up.
