Will there be a price hike or price drop incentive on sub 100 g/km cars before 2017 when we start paying £140 pa for VED for "standard" emission cars.
I wonder how the new VED will affect sales of the TA from 2017 on....
Also, it will be interesting to see if there is a mad rush for zero or low VED cars in March 2017 - new reg. and the last of the low tax cost!
Anyone buying any car on the basis of its fiscal advantages would do well to remember that they could be changed at any time.
The Chancellor giveth, and the Chancellor taketh away.

I bought our TA because it was zero VED...........I bought my TA because I preferred the performance and sound over a 1.2, not because it would save me £30 a year in VED.
I bought our TA because it was zero VED.
The sound and the performance is a bonus, but the zero VED was the clincher.
Yes, it's a big hike form zero to £140.
Cheers,
Mick
How about all the tax they raise on beer goes to keeping breweries open?I do however hope as they have said that most of the money raised will be spent back on the roads for upgrading and repairs as this is badly needed .
