For those of you who have met me (Donny South peeps) - you know I'm no fatty (tall but certainly not heavy). Thing is, my MOT today flashed up concern about my drivers seat - it passed but apparently the testing mechanic spent a lot of time looking at my seat.
The problem is, on the fixings that join the railing system - 2 supports have broken/snapped at the front. As a result, the seat rocks. New runners you might think but the broken parts are on the seat itself and not the runner mechanism - thus cannot be removed. Fiat have said its a new seat jobby or get it welded.
Are the seats easy to take out? Bearing in mind this is a HLX with heated seats I was just toying getting hold of a replacement seat (if possible). But I reckon a weld job might be better. Unsure tho.
Anyone else had this problem? Anyone selling a seat?
(hey if it's leather, I'll buy the interior lol.
