Broken reverse light

Hey guys i recently noticed that my reverse light was out i changed the bulb but still nothings happening all the other bulbs on the board work except this one, cud i be doing sumthing wrong or do i just need a new board?

Maybe the switch that is connected to the gearbox is faulty (or however the light is connected to the reverse gear)??!!

Just a thought.

you don't need a reversing light to pass an MOT.. so if u need to reverse in the dark.... just flick the hazard lights on

Is the reverse light not like a rear fog light when it comes to the MOT in as much as you don't need one, but if it's fitted it must work ?
